You may have seen Sai Bennett in the recent Mr Selfridge, which was a fan favourite of all of us in the salon! We absolutely love the gorgeous soft curl hairstyle she was recently rocking at a Chanel event. The Chanel dress looked beautiful too.
Long hairstyles are a speciality of the Barbarella Hair team so we thought we would share with you a step-by-step guide to achieve this look tonight!!
1. It is better to start when your hair is slightly damp. Put it in side parting, beginning this just over the middle of your eyebrow.
2. Put a tiny bit of wax on top of your head, to ensure your hair stays in place with nary a frizz.
3. Spray your hair all over with heat protection hairspray.
4. Take a lock that is about twice the thickness of your fingernail. Then wrap it around curling wand, which you should hold vertically. Grab on to the very end of your lock of hair and, being careful not to burn your fingers, hold the lock on for a good thirty seconds.
5. When you are done, let go of your hair. As the curl loosens around the wand, slide the wand out, without messing up the curl. Continue this process until all your hair has been curled!
6. End by spritzing on some hairspray to really hold it in place. And voila! A simple, lovely and girly make-up look!
