For the Spring/Summer collections, designers looked to the early part of the decade for their inspiration. Groundbreaking designers of the time such as Courreges, Pierre Cardin and Mary Quant, THE models of the moment, Peggy Moffitt and Twiggy. The rebellious photographer, David Bailey and the visionary hairdresser whose influence is still respected to this day, Vidal Sassoon all played a pivotal role in what became known as the ‘Swinging Sixties’.
